All Done for another year
128 PPP and their families, including three U18 Warriors, completed some distance to add to the pot, and raise money for Maggs Charity. Collectively we ran or walked 11,198km, which beat 2023, a fantastic achievement.
50 of you completed the Daily Challenge to walk or run at least a mile each advent day, and were put into a pot for the chance to win a Β£50 Voucher in favour of the Active Foot Company. This year’s winner was Mike VATOR, well done Ian.
All the pledge emails have already gone out, to the email that you use when you signed up to the PPP. If yours has not come through, please check your junk files, or it may be a historical email address. If still no luck, the contact Steve Nicoll, sending him your current email, and he will send your details to you.
Many have already completed their pledge donations, and the pot with the club donation currently stands at Β£1340.00
This is an amazing amount, and Maggs, who are eternally grateful, can use this money immediately to alleviate any issues from the people who need their help. You only have to go out for a run, past your local town, and you will see those poor unfortunate people, who have all their possessions, in some doorway, or sheltering where they can. In the local weather conditions we have had of late, no-ne chooses to be out long tern in these conditions.
If you did not take part in the challenge, but would still like to donate, then please use the link below, all the instructions are then on the page linked
