There may be an opportunity to gain points on a parkrun takeover, but this is still to be confirmed, as no date for such is currently in the 2026 PPP Diary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An additional point will be added for each event that the Member has participated in, so the more you do, the better your overall tally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Based upon the event list shown, you are invited to enter as many as you are able, and throughout the year, we will collate a league based upon your finishing positions, in the Two Categories of Plum Males and Plum Females. The times will be subject to Age Grading based upon the England Athletics Age grade calculator and applied to your current age at the time the event takes place, and this is done to try to give every runner a level playing field against all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Times are then ranked in order and points allocated i.e. 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;place gets 30 points, 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;place gets 29, and so on, until everyone is awarded points for their times. If more than 30 take part, everyone placed at 31+ will get 1 point towards their total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some events have differing distances in the list, on the same day, and so you can choose which is your best option, i.e. on 13th September, if you plan to race at Worcester, you can choose 10km, or the Half Marathon. In 2026, we will also have an option of two events held on the same day, and Members can do either, depending on their preference. (Bromsgrove or Crowle)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, we will add points to members who volunteer to help at one of the events below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pershore Plum 10k \u2013 August 31<sup>st<\/sup>, 2026 \u2013 (15 Points)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Members 10k \u2013 November 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, 2026 &#8211; (15 Points)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026and possibly extra points will be awarded, if the PPP do a parkrun takeover in 2026, and this is still to be decided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>parkrun takeover \u2013 15 points<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(Max Additional points available \u2013 30 points)<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<em>[NOTE: if there is no takeover in 2026, the maximum potential voluntary points will be 15]<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, you can play a Joker for ONE event, notification of intent to play will need to be given BEFORE the Start of that event to the Race League Coordinator, and this will get you Double points for that event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If PPP is your first claim, then the Race League Coordinator will be able to find your timings on the races, however, please ensure you put your affiliation to PPP on any race entry. If after results are published you do not see your name, or you are 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;claim, then you can contact Steve and he will check any additions.
