Promoting the welfare and wellbeing of our club members is essential for creating a positive and supportive environment. We as a club take this responsibility seriously and offer and promote the following:
Mental Wellbeing:
- Highlighting the benefits of positive wellbeing for our runners.
- Try to create and maintain a culture that encourages runners health and wellbeing.
Physical Wellbeing:
- Encourage physical health by promoting running activities across the club, supported by Plod Nights and monthly track sessions.
Welfare Officers:
- We have specific be friendly and approachable Plums who are responsible for our members welfare.
- Ensure their visibility and availability for members, who maintain confidentiality when listening or addressing any concerns.
Creating a Safe Environment:
- Our Club aims to create an environment where members feel safe and free from harassment, bullying, and abuse.
- We would look to address issues related to safeguarding, anti-bullying, equality, and disciplinary matters.
- Follow the England Athletic established Codes of Conduct and procedures for handling welfare concerns or grievances.
